Anonymous, 11 Jan 2026You do know they had the redmagic 10 air before the iphone 17 air right? You do know apple had the air name before redmi realme redmagic right? I mean you are even replying to the comment that tells that.

RushGamer, 10 Jan 2026This is a gaming phone not an ordinary flagship dude. For a gaming phone with complex cooling ... moreYou said a lot, but said nothing. Apple intruduced the "air" suffix in tech and it has nothing to do with gaming, performance, or budget. It was about thinness and portability. And, in tech, "air" has since been associated with that. There's no way or form this phone fits that bill. It's larger than most regular flagship/upper midrange phone released this year, and it isn't particularly thinner than most such phones, too. So, where's the "air"?
Kkks, 10 Jan 2026Is macbook a phone ? Did i say it was? Apple popularised the air naming with macbook and ipad. Not your redmi realme redmagic who just copied it.
Kkks, 10 Jan 2026Before anyone start calling ' copying ' . Redmagic was the first brand to introduce ... moreway before the iPhone
Anonymous, 10 Jan 2026can't wait until Asus comes up with something new....but I bet it will be nothing better ... moreyou do realise that ASUS already confirmed that they cancelled all the plans of releasing any new zen phones and rog phones in 2026
Anonymous, 10 Jan 2026A laptop, not a phone.... duhIts a tech thing with air in its name, so yes these guys copied apple.
Cyberchum, 10 Jan 2026I'm scratching my head trying to understand why there's "air" in the name.... moreThis is a gaming phone not an ordinary flagship dude. For a gaming phone with complex cooling and big battery 7,000mAh, to get 7.85mm well that's a big thing. And this is Redmagic's affordable variant.
TechFa, 10 Jan 2026What's the point using the same soc? What differs it from the other models? At least if y... moreThe Air model is there budget lineup but this time done right. Would you rather like an 8Gen5 than a more powerful 8Elite for a cheaper price?
The specs, addition of coolinv fan, increase of battery to 7,000mAh Si/C for a 7.85mm thinness is perfect this time for a gaming phone Air version.
A Phone series with bad software and awful support. I had so many issues with lag and other problems with RedMagic 10. Not buying their phones again
can't wait until Asus comes up with something new....but I bet it will be nothing better than much more expensive.
Superpower2030, 10 Jan 2026So macbook air is what?A laptop, not a phone.... duh

What's the point using the same soc? What differs it from the other models? At least if you feel the need to release more gaming variants, make them as unique as possible.
