Samsung's own insurance will literally find any excuse to deny your claim, even if it's from poor manufacturing. Samsung tried to charge me $200 to repair my flip because of "unauthorized modification". This "unauthorized modification" was the adhesive coming loose on the upper back panel. The day that flip fully died was the day that I left Samsung for good- they've just turned into another company that puts profits over functionality and user experience, and now they're just churning out overpriced, shitty devices year over year

GAMIR3DH, 03 Dec 2025No one said a foldable screen is durable. But is also not as fragile as you may think. In terms of functionality, yes foldable screens are far more durrable than most people think, however in terms of being scratch resistant, well there is none. Scratching is just as bad, if not worse than people make it out to be

Hilarious offering a discount on their likely overpriced 1st party repair. Straight out of Apple’s playbook to charge an excess for Apple Care repairs!

It's funny for me to read all those comments about the Fold's durability from people that have never had one. I had them all, was really hard on them including trips, hiking, extreme temperatures, and not even a scratch on the 'soft' internal display. All of my friends and colleagues have the same experience with other Samsung foldables. I'm definitely getting the Trifold once it will be available on my region!

How generous of them to make an easy-to-break piece of garbage and make the customer pay for half the repair afterwards. Another "innovation" from Samsung, but their fans are happy. 🤣🤣🤣

When you’re buying a $2000 phone, it makes more sense to just buy the extended warranty (Samsung care plus) for it.

Samsung's phone is a failure, and I think Huawei is much stronger here. You can't open two or three screens, only one or all of them, which is a strength of Huawei. The cameras are weak, which is another advantage of Huawei. Thank God Huawei exists on this planet.

                                  A realistic short critical review.

In my private and professional life, I use (and will always use) a separate mobile phone and a notebook. For several reasons (primarily related to the high purchase costs, the sensitivity of parts and expensive repairs), there is absolutely no need for me to have a 2-in-1 device that is called a phone, but is actually a phablet.

Conclusion: neither this Samsung phablet, nor any other, will ever be able to replace the productivity achieved on a notebook. The only thing that comes to mind is that Samsung has completely lost the idea of how to move forward in the world of mobile phones. Not only Samsung, but also other mobile phone manufacturers.
