Nope it's not. Realme is using Samsung display for this phone as far as I remember. Both Realme and iQOO has downgraded cameras this year and that's why nobody bought them. For iQOO, people are ready to pay, you can say 700-750USD, but camera was downgrade, so people didn't purchase a lot. Realme was in OnePlus territory in my country. So didn't have good sales. Now price is dropped by 100-150-200USD and people are still not buying this.

Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro have better sales this year. Because of exceptional battery life. I don't know what they did. But it's even better than OnePlus 13.

If Oppo Find X9 Ultra comes with specifications globally which have leaked at, S26U is gone absolutely into dustbin.

jiyen235, 10 May 2025yeah but what about battery tests, from whom exactly are you inferring the numbers from?Embargo man.

Battery life is just at 8-9 hours which is same as that of OP13/13R battery life at 6000 capacity.

The Realme GT7 global has the Dimensity 9400e and not the 9300+.

I saw the slides of a private presentation of the Realme GT7 to a electronic store. ;)

Without proper efficiency, high benchmarks scores arent really possible.

And Realme's main issue is the downgraded battery on the GT7 Pro. Otherwise the other phones are par for the course i'd say, midrangers cant really be picky with everything. They might be cheaping out on the displays and stuff there, leading to mediocre midrange battery life.

And Oneplus phones look great cus they're specs first phones, thus displays are high priority. Even then, Oneplus and Oppo phones are just better imo in general, Realme feels like "that other one" type of thing in this trio lmao

Although I must say, Realme is consistently the one with the best battery life with the GT7 and GT7 Pro. Even if you equate the battery size and display efficiency/resolution.

jiyen235, 10 May 2025Realme's got the most aggressive throttling/optimisation compared to Oppo and Oneplus. Op... moreOppo till this year till Oppo Find X8 Pro launch, didn't focus on battery optimization on Dimensity powered chipsets. This year, they have optimised X8 Pro through the roof. I don't know it is optimization or Dimensity 9400 magic. But one thing for sure, Poco brand doesn't know how to optimize the Dimensity chipset. All phones with Dimensity chipsets are poorly optimised. Realme has started opting for Dimensity chipsets from Realme 9 Pro Plus and Realme X7 Max, they had excellent battery life. Not sure what happened with Realme off late, very poor battery life on all Pro Plus devices. Same goes with Realme GT 7 Pro. Degraded for India and poor optimization as well. So I am going to stay away from Realme devices in near future. OnePlus focussing on battery life and bug fixes far better than anyone else right now. OnePlus 12/13/Nord 4 excellent devices for the price.

Honestly I won't put a big hopes on realme to price it perfectly because of how they priced gt 7 pro (who on earth is using 8 mp UW on 800€ realme phone 💀) but still waiting to see what they'll do for that

Oppo and Oneplus strike the perfect balance of optimisation imo. Fast and smooth UI, good thermals, exceptional performance yet amazing battery life.

People only look at SOT and make conclusions but dont see that Oppo and Oneplus hold the brightness the longest and dont throttle as hard as others. Vivo's a very close second. I'm not talking about you here btw, just making an observation.

I'm wondering tho, where'd you get the numbers from?

ua82, 09 May 2025I might be interested, if price is right and they dont reduce the battery capacity Don't buy these products at launch prices. Especially Poco and Realme GT series. Price is dropped considerably in two to three months and you are good to go. Poco F7 will sell like hotcakes under 350USD for custom rom support.

Avoid both the phones and get them in sales if you want. Realme GT 7T would be available at 22999 in sales for 256GB. At that pricing it's killer deal.
