potato4k, 09 May 2025Vivo 🤡 Y series getting Dimensity 8400 (Y300 GT) 💪 V series getting Snapdragon 685 (V50 lite 4G) 💀they have the audacity to call snapdragon 685 "Flagship performance" according to vivo's website. you'll only need to scroll all the way down. trust me, i'm not lying. i see it with my own eyes. like.. wtf.. even the 5G version!!! do they even expect snapdragon 685 and dimensity 6300 to surpass snapdragon 8 elite?

rizki1, 09 May 2025powerful D8400 don't expect a good battery life.. unless it has LTPO.Power doesnt lead to poor battery life. Poor power efficiency, and more importantly, poor power management does.
Powerful phones are generally more efficient. By that i mean that at lower power requirements, let's say 1000 score on geekbench, a Dimensity 8400 will use less power than something like the Dimensity 8100. That's basically what most manufacturers mean by increases in efficiency.
Certainly, a case can be made for poor power management leading to bad battery life but you must also remember that more often than not, the "good" battery life you see is just the result of heavy power restrictions and thermal throttling. Apple, Samsung, Sony and Google phones do that. They lower refresh rate, brightness and cpu clock speeds to save battery. 90% of users dont notice this as they're just average people using phones and dont really need anything more than a galaxy A36.

P.s, android 15 consume more battery than android 14. I think that will be the same situation with android 16, probably even more power hungry.

IP and UFS 4.0. Realme has better battery, software and always on. Realme is also significantly expensive. Poco 12/256gb can be found for 300€ in Europe now.
