S, 16 Apr 2025Why you guys worry so much about - privacy , privacy, privacy? 1 human body hardly lasts for ... moreI do not want my life to be the currency of a corporate machine. I want them to starve and grovel at my feet.

The ease makes us dumber. Can't remember when you took a photo? Look it up with your AI assistant and your brain will forget instead of reaching and searching for the knowledge. The smoothing of the way for us dulls our intellect

I've stopping using it as soon as it popped up a ad saying, "PAY"...
If I've waited till now, I would have done it after hearing about Gemini...
    Another useless feature by Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle...
First stop hackers steal people's passwords. Don't worry about my passwords. I don't have anything to lose even if hackers hacked my PC and deleted everything...

1 human body hardly lasts for 100 years.
      Just live it.
      Forget those privacy thoughts.
Adapt and live with the nature, even if the nature is an artificial one.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2025Yep, plus I can't think of the carbon emissions involved in scanning all of your pictures... moreIt's not gonna be that computationally just gonna upload your photos in a vector database not feeding it as tokens which is way more enovirenm entally viable in short they are using rag.

AI scanning every photo, every meme and image you save, integrating with your search history, knowing what you stare at and for how long. Why would we want this? They will be able to create a narrative of your entire life

So they can go through every photo you take and create a narrative of your life. Plus every meme or image you save. Combine it with your internet search history, your location history, etc

Why on earth would anyone want this?

Dimtons, 15 Apr 2025Lol, They reached a point where they publicly tell you that they are sniffing on your whole da... moreAt least if you specifically used their Pixel devices, you could easily install GrapheneOS (it's less than 5 clicks in the web installer, no knowledge required) and opt out of all Google services safely.

No other smartphone provides support for as secure and private a ROM as Graphene, for now.

Well done for adding yet another useless feature we all didn't ask for instead of adding something that could actually be useful

Something things are trivial and don't require an answer.
