Oh, here we go again, HP buying stuff, like they did with Palm... Printer companies are the best at killing new ideas.
Forsi147, 19 Feb 2025Ahhhh, HP.... Where failed tech grifts go to die forgotten. Pretty sure Compaq wasn't that "failed" back then... or are they?
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2025Now anyone who bought this back when it was still functional has a nice little $699+ paperweight.so nothing has changed?! 😂 it was never "functional" brother
AnonD-1187531, 19 Feb 2025When Marques complained, people said he was crazy.
"Now you see? You see?"–he says. Nobody did that, everyone knew the product and all the other ones like it were bad from the start.
A 200$ Smartwatch with LTE could do basically the same thing
Forsi147, 19 Feb 2025Ahhhh, HP.... Where failed tech grifts go to die forgotten. Unfortunatelly not just failed ones, plenty of people miss the old plantronics that HP ruined.
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2025Now anyone who bought this back when it was still functional has a nice little $699+ paperweight. You're assuming this was functional to begin with...just sayin'
Well, wonder when this will happen to rabbit. Its not like these products were ever to be what they were expected to be. Sadly. There are a lot of tech enthusiasts waiting for a LAM to work like Humane and Rabbit made it sound like. These products were sadly just worse smartphones in different shapes.
People actually bought this ?
When Marques complained, people said he was crazy.

The concept was good, but poorly implemented and at a very bad price hahaha, and to that, add that the phone manufacturers took steps to ensure that it was not a successful product...
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2025Now anyone who bought this back when it was still functional has a nice little $699+ paperweight. All of the 2 people that actually bought one, that is.
HP should focus on hardware and not screwing over their customers, not this AI bullshit.
Now anyone who bought this back when it was still functional has a nice little $699+ paperweight.
