Apple has come close to this with their App Store that I'll agree. But not as a company as a whole.
If you look carefully Google is very much a monopoly as too was Microsoft - 13 us states tried to break them up back in 1997.

Apple is an American company. They're NOT part of the EU. They fairly compete in a fair market.
