I like the ARM v9 implementation. And, if the price is right, could be a tempting offer. My only complain is the size, but... I guess we'll just have to accept it. I am curious about RAM type (LPDDR4x or LPDDR5?) and storage (UFS 2.2 or UFS 3.1?). Mmm, if they use the former... I might have to pass. Would be a real shame, but I have a feeling that's what they'll go with.

I think this article (and actually every news source) is wrongly interpreting the information in the video. They are talking about a 300% increase "compared to other sensors in the price category". At no moment they say that it's a direct improvement of the 2a.
Just don't be disappointed if it's a 1/1.56 sensor size again because they compare it to the 1/2 or 1/2.55 sensors of competitors, because to me this is exactly what they are saying.

Am I the only one disappointed that Nothing is still making mid-range phones? When I saw the telephoto lens I was so exited thinking that they are finally making high end phones but here we are with mid-range hardware. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind having less processing power but lacking features such as USB C video output, a usable ultrawide lens, a good modem and proper fingerprint sensor makes me consider something ely
