Anonymous, 18 Feb 2025This is not an upgrade from the a25 imo. it has the same display, battery, chipset, camera and ramI don't see why they keep these models. Just keep the a36 and a56 and get rid of the 20 models. Only like one hundred dollars more to upgrade to the a36 and it has a better screen and no tear drop notch.

Exynos 1330 used by Galaxy A16,. would have a better performance than Exynos 1280, in terms of RAM speed.

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2025No, this exynos 1280 chip on the A26 will have 2.6GHz MAX speed, which is going to be overclocked. Overclocked but the antutu score will reach only more than 500k and will not beat D1080 in terms of performance. Better to pick a34, a16 or get a36 than buy this trash a26

Surely I'm not the only one thinking Samsung's new camera islands look a lot like Xperias.. If you look at it from a far (and fair bit of squinting), you almost might not be able to tell it apart.

At this point samsung us scamming all their customers and knows people will still buy, cause they're samsung.
Minimal updates for Galaxy S line up since S23.
I would've expected S25 to have uodated cameras and switched to the newer and better battery tech, Cause they shure did lift up the prices a lot.
Now they won't upgrade anything with the midrangers either. Just better software support.
You'd reasonably expect the A26 to have Exynos 1380 and A36 to have Exynos 1480. But they're basically forcing you to buy the a55 or upcoming a56. Which are more expensive. If you want those features.
Not a fan of Samsungs phones in last 2 years. They used to give meaningful upgrades to all the phone models, till 3 years ago.
