Looks like EU, UK, China, and some countries that ban Apple/ put court case on Apple are collaborating to increase the sales of Samsung flagship.

Rodolf, 08 Feb 2025And they talk about China which didn't even request such thing from Apple! Now I see ... moreYou dont have to hack Huawei, if its already integrated with surveillance software of Chinese govt to begin with.

Hacking a huawei phone only make the phone more secure from china surveillance system.

Rodolf, 08 Feb 2025And they talk about China which didn't even request such thing from Apple! Now I see ... moreYou will be so naive to think that, those Huawei Harmony, Xiaomi Hyper, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, OnePlus and other China phone brand didn't have a backdoor 🙄
Don't believe me?? I don't know how technically you are, but you can leave your phone on with internet connection (WiFi or data) overnight while you're sleeping and the next day. You can check your data transmission details. You'll be surprised knowing where all the data gone to. Here a kicker, some of the data when to a company that tie to Chinese government.

Hence why both my phone (iPhone and Android phone) always internet connection off when I'm sleeping. Only basic cellular call and SMS can reach me.

I guess it would depend if they would be willing to take the financial hit and grow their markets elswhere to offset the loss of the UK market.

Surely, anyone actually really needing the secrecy are not using encryption to which anyoneelse but they themself have the decryption key. Meaning you keep the unlock key yourself and send the lock key to the sender all without use of Apple, Facebook, signal, telegram, etc.

But at least that would affect Chinese users, not everybody else outside China.

Now I see Huawei's HarmonyOS is a better for security because it's less popular for hackers to target, especially since it's not compatible with android APK or IOS files. If China spy on this OS you're worried about ONE country rather than USA's CIA, NSA, FBI, Meta, Google, UK intelligence, Isra's Mossad (remember Pegasus!)
