or else, more popular brand is the choice, because various reason, like better service-support

while for unpopular/small brand, they probably dont have service center, which if ur phone have issue, all u can do is bring it 3rd party service center and hope they can fix ur phone, which again the hope slim if u need spareparts (who willing to stock spareparts from unpopular phones?)

xiaomi oppo vivo have strong sales in south-asia because have tons service-center and people can get their phone fixed fast

Fpr example said Meizu is cheaper than rest of the brands and so because of price someone would rather buy cheaper but equally specced phone than Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo etc.
Among all you said Tecno is maybe least available.

Not all countries have those chinese brands for sale unlike samsung which you can buy everywhere. And not all chinese brands are everywhere,
Nio or Meizu is very limited for example.

I generally prefer inhouse solutions over general ones if they are competent enough. Samsung proved they had superior chipsets back in the early days of Android phones, if they can pull that again I don't have any issues. Especially if they tailor them to be specifically superior for their device functionality, the same way Apple does with their own chipset designs. But if they are subpar I sure as hell don't want to pay the same for them as for competition and then have inferior performance. That's just stupid.

Of course it will return like last year's segmentation, only reason they didn't this year is Sammy couldn't get their s together quick enough.. cost cutting and maximizing profits seemingly now appears to be their primary function.

Comapring Samsung sales which is avalaible litteratry everywhere, every country, mall, stall, vendor, phone shop etc to something which availability is maybe 20% of what samsung have.
Even a tiny kids will know this fact how could you say such nonsense.

Even Kia or Toyota sells much more cars than Rolls Royce or Bentley per year but that does not make em better cars.

Samsung should have in house Exynos AS WELL AS tsmc made silicon. What sort of corruption is behind it all to choose a more expensive or more inferior node? I mean think of all the work that has been put in by chip engineers? Why waste it? The world needs Exynos to be competitive to put pressure on the others. Intel is now going tsmc, when will Samsung?

Tbh current chip is powerful enough to keep it in S26. S26 and + needs upgrades in other areas more than new overpowered chipset. Cameras are now below midrange level. Also it needs bigger battery to feed powerful chipset and sky rocketing screen brithness.

I didn't like the Exynos for my S24±. Now I am ok. S26 Ultra SD. If they are going to release S26 in my region again then I will definitely stick with the S25 Ultra.

                                        Saves me money anyway. 😀
