I already use non invasive blood glucose, blood pressure, blood oxygen, ECG all in one device (EYVA) by using two thumb finger prints on the specific sponsors for less than 60 seconds, you get the results. You can perform this any number of times and you can use this for 5 people by registering their fingerprints in the sensors. So far I am not sure whether to trust the results or not because I get different results from different equipment’s (example, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Apple Watch, OMRON cuff based BP monitor, Accu Chek Guide etc…Not sure which one is right and which one is wrong! Because, my ONE RING (Muse Ring) and EYVA Blood Pressure readings are similar while OMRON and Galxy Watch Ultra readings are similar (20 points more in each, i.e Diastolic and Systolic) beginning to think that either the medical association certified ones are tampered with reading by increasing the points by 20 while non certified ones show the correct results (not necessarily accurate). I generally do not trust medical associations and their certifications which are being use to manufacture patients!

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2025Optical blood glucose sensor? Is that even possible?Raman spectroscopy, which involves illuminating a substance with a single-colored light and then analyzing how the substance that is illuminated reacts.

Wait, what? The game I'm playing on my mobile displays ads, and these days I am often seeing an ad for an app that uses _any_ phone's camera to measure temperature, pulse, blood pressure and I am pretty certain I have seen a glucose as well in some of these ads.

You don't suggest now these ads are cheating or lying, are you?

No it should be advertised carefully. As a doctor I can see what will happen if technology goes wrong. Even after so many years they still don't have proper heart rate and Saturation levels and falsely claimed BP measurements and now they're making this cock and bull story

Nah this is BS. Are there even a standalone optical blood glucose machine? No. It's pure BS that suddenly the tech advances into a smartwatch.

                  Like who cares.
Healthcare devices certified by red cross or some other healthcare companies or companies which makes devices used to monitor our vital functions are miles better and ahead of ay samsung device.
Would not trust with my health a phone company who have no rights, probbably no patents and no inventions which will be 100% accurate in healthcare results.
Samsung is good only to make devices which gives rumours and hits about our health but will not trust the they arent 100% accurate like healthcare companies which makes 99-100% accurate devuces in healthcare, measurements and results.

Event if it's pricier; I'll probably purchase @ launch to replace my Watch 3 Titanium, hoping it's accurate (My pressure is okay on my model, don't know if WearOS is less accurate)
