Even a $25 BT speaker will sound better than $1200 phone speakers because the BT speaker has more room for the sound producing elements.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2025Disappointed, a nice device, but it's almost a downgrade from the 1st model. LOL, downgrade?? Everything here in Nubia Music 2 is an UPGRADE.
- Now has dual speakers, + back 600decibels speakers.
- 50MP cam with AI features
- A much powerful Unisoc T7200 with 2 performance cores + 6 efficiency cores unlike the first with Unisoc9863A old chip.
- Display now has 120Hz too, back now also has LED strip ala gaming phones.

I have the a device with the T603 which already has 2x A75 cores + 6x A55 cores. Its on the same performance as HelioG80, which is very good for an entry level device. Now this T7200 might even be better.

I wonder if the 600% volume output also extend to the headphone jack, not just the speaker. My Vivo has a weak output, so weak that I have to use a USB DAC. My older Honor X8 5G otoh has excellent output on its headphone jack.

Tech CEOs really are insane. Just because I want great audio doesn't mean i don't care about any other specs and certainly doesn't mean i'd buy it.
at least we got something usable. but it has to be mediatek because unisoc's integrated DACs has a bad audio quality via its headphone jack.

Like seriously, Nubia is out here putting "AI melody light" and "classic geometric shapes" in their promotional material just to try and fill it with something, that's how desperate they are. You think they would shut up about a DAC chip if they integrated one?

Just let these things go, and go at least for Helio G81 or Unisoc T606 (or now T7200) or Snapdragon 680. The A53/55-only SoCs were already outdated 10 years ago.
