Realisticly, if MS is to buy BB, they would implement the services in to WP and Windows, and maybe get inspired by some UI elements.
And I think that would be the best way for MS to go after such a purchase. Having more OSes in one company is not a good thing, and MS is moving away from that, with more and more core sharing in Windows and Windows Phone.

MS to buy both Nokia and BB and keep both operating systems. BB for Qwerty messengers and WP8 for smartphones. Would be a fantastic range of phones - one for everybody.

Yes, Google should have bought Nokia instead of Motorola except that Nokia is not, and never was, for sale. Maybe in the future? Then again, maybe not because MS would definitely buy it first.

There are MUCH more persons here with iPhones and much more with Android phones because of the variety of them and prices. Right now people are buying android phones for the same price as blackberries because no one wants them. And because no one wants them its really hard to sell :/ im telling you this because I sell phones and most of the persons that come to me on a regular basis are either trying to get rid of their BB and get an iPhone or Android

Well, as i said in another thread ((the one about the silly expensive ($2000) Blackberry Porsche phone)).
You don't (and no one in their right mind would) release such an expensive phone that is aimed at such a niche market when you are failing company. And it is absurd to think otherwise. Blackberry have only got themselves to blame.

I do wish that MS acquire BB because millions of company in the US including our federal gov still rely on BB as a secure device for an RPN account on there networks; the make very good hardware that's durable and reliable, there OS is very solid and a lot of people out there still rather a real keyboard for taxing so they could keep making those wile adding some large touchscreen phone with lots of HI-end features and apps' they will make it back, MS is only thinking about there WP8 software but they or missing the big picture, the key for a company to survive is to have lots of options and this would be a very good one because they have bin supporting company's for years with MS-office and PC OS.

Blackberry may not have all those glittering, flashy applications but their hardware are among the best smartphones in the world, so If MS ties up with (buy out) the BB. It looks a lot like MS is going to be back with a bang...
