Anonymous, 22 Nov 2024If this mini-PC operates mostly in the cloud, how would I still use the PC, if my Wi-Fi is gone? It's not a PC. It's a thin client. You can't use it as a PC when it's offline.

Generally, companies don't want users to install applications on companies' PCs or change settings. Anyway, entry-level Windows PCs cost about $350. They aren't better if you want your employees to use Windows 365 anyway. And if one PC is infected with a virus, it may be spread to all PCs in the same network.

I don't get this. an entry level PC or laptop is far better for the price, and this'll eventually be a brick. You can do the desktop sharing thing just fine with a real computer.

But if you work in extremely big company and see that someone were employed because they have the skill the company want, but have very bad knowledge about computer, you will understand this..... To imagine.... Imagine if you're 100 years old grandparent able to sell 10x more than regular dude. Good in sales, but can't really use computer.

This is the kind of computer for them

With no technical support needed, this will be "cheap" to maintain.
