Anonymous, 22 Nov 2024If this mini-PC operates mostly in the cloud, how would I still use the PC, if my Wi-Fi is gone? It's not a PC. It's a thin client. You can't use it as a PC when it's offline.

Generally, companies don't want users to install applications on companies' PCs or change settings. Anyway, entry-level Windows PCs cost about $350. They aren't better if you want your employees to use Windows 365 anyway. And if one PC is infected with a virus, it may be spread to all PCs in the same network.
I don't get this. an entry level PC or laptop is far better for the price, and this'll eventually be a brick. You can do the desktop sharing thing just fine with a real computer.

Companies that use HTTPS proxies can track Internet activities of their employees, even if they use HTTPS. For example, if your company uses an HTTPS proxy, and you use your company's device to log in to your bank website, your company can see your username and password.

This will be good in place like airport & hotel. And also in big company too.
With no technical support needed, this will be "cheap" to maintain.
Somehow I'm not even surprised.
