It's a matter of cent, guess convenience isn't a thing for them or they know their target who purchase them and dump them after a while 😂

If that is the case, I do wish for HMD to keep the oll Nokia name, especially for their Feature Phones or KaiOS phones and it would be nice if they remake some of the old Nokia Design like the N95 or something.

Pino76, 28 Oct 2024Senior citizens.Depends when you live, in my country stuff like social care, insurance, banks, government facilities and so on require an app and a digital id for them.
So even senior citizens have a smartphone, but even before all that was a thing a lot of them bought one to replace most if not all communication devices (also pc) at home.
And they often have more expensive phones than younger peeps, then again current seniors come from a age where "money for their old day" was much more than what people like me in the future at same age will have.
(don't get me started about how often they waste money on buying too much food and wasting it)
But that is my country mind you.
As for who such phone would be, not everyone wants a smartphone and if you live in a more normal country than mine (I hate the whole apps everything mentality over here) then it would be a nice thing to have.
I would not suggest it as a social media detox device, if someone can not have a smartphone and not have the strength to not use social media on them, they have different issues.
I don't use social media for example, even when my work demanded me to do.
