Samsung may cancel the Galaxy S26 Comments

I am a loyal Samsung user who also carries an iPhone. I currently have an S24 and an iPhone 15 Pro. The Galaxy is a better phone hands down. The base model S24 beats the iPhone 15 Pro in every way (except UWB). I have no desire to carry a huge phone. My wife has an S24 Ultra and it has some nice features but not enough for the trade in size. I travel and I’m always on the go. They already killed the Tab S10 and I am super unhappy as I have a Tab S9 and was looking forward to the Tab S10. If they kill the smaller S Series phones, I will go iPhone exclusively.

Wouldn't the naming be confusing? As opposed to dropping the vanilla S26 wouldn't it be better to rename the S26+ to the vanilla and keep the Ultra? Whatever man.

Persicope can be ultra only, certainly if the rumors are correct about 3x zoom 50MP for S25 vanilla.
Anyways periscope really needs room to be designed in including battery and like in an ultra body.
Wishing a periscope in a really thin small body is bogus and then there is some product seperation too, i mean the ultra can have all its goodies but to make it pro cam only is a big mistake.
A pro cam should be standard on all S models.

If the cameras are as bad as on the S24 Ultra, i'mma pass this one too.
The Ultra series went downhill since S22 Ultra. First they downgraded the selfie camera on the S23 Ultra, then they downgraded the zoom camera and the display/body ratio on the S24 Ultra... Now what else could they possibly downgrade?
Not to mention that the Note 20 Ultra had the 3D scanner on the back of it, that got removed with the S21 Ultra.
They just keep getting worse, tbh... Remember the IR Blaster on the older Notes? I can't even take a pulse reading now on the S23 Ultra. I'm basicaly forced to wear the watch.
It's just ridiculous how barebones they've become. No hardware feature left.
But, oh well, the S-Pen is a Wiimote now. If it would have been able to be used in VR, as a virtual pointer, it would have been pretty cool. Somewhat useful even.
Imagine a Harry Potter game in which you move with the Gear VR controller and actually do the spells with the S-Pen. Like, it can recognize air-drawn shapes, the gestures show that.

Top of the line Snapdragon Chipset
6 inch LTPO screen
12,256GB Storage as Base with SD Slot
Under Display Front Camera
5x optical Zoom Camera and a 50 MP Main camera preferably Sony sensors.
4300 - 4500 mah battery newer chipset with LTPO Screen will be energy efficient to last a day. Also it can charged to 100% in around 40 mins.
Faux leather back with IP68 and notification LED at top.

I have always been a fan of the base S variant, due to its compact dimensions.
I would suggest Samsung to drop the plus variant and make the vanilla model as powerful as ultra, I can ensure that people who needs that bigger screen, battery and extra zoom will buy the ultra.
