Same ol', same ol'
I hate Apple for starting this flat trend that every other brand is now copying
The screen should absolutely be flat, there's no debate about that BUT JUST the screen. The back and sides being flat makes the phone uncomfortable to use because it now digs into your hands (surprise Samsung but our hands are round which are better for holding rounded objects)
I have the S22 ultra and it feels so much better in hand than any of these iPhone copycats
Thinner bezel has become a feature now! funny...
Same design, for 4 years again
I wish the phones are made in kenya or you have a station In Kenya one can get cheaper or even your own supplier who sells in kenya
possible magsafe?
Yielar, 01 Oct 2024I've had every Note phone since the Note 2 and currently use the S24 Ultra. I much prefer... moreRounder edges are better for good in hand feel.
The edges of the S24 Ultra literally dig into your hand so rounded edges are a welcome change.
However, most of us were expecting a complete redesign so that's an extremely disappointing move by Samsung.
They're not innovating as they used to before.
If I didn't see it myself I wouldn't have believed it
I DID see it myself and I still don't believe it.
Finally the title is what it is
The AI on the S24 Ultra's latest update is irritating at best. I am constantly fighting the keyboard now with it wanting to write by itself! Predictive text was a lot better, just having the words you needed pop up. Now I've had to disable the spelling and grammar and all of the chat assist. I have been with Samsung since the S3, and I don't think I will be returning for the S25 Ultra! I love my S9 Ultra Tablet. Oh, and my Fold 5 and S9 Ultra Tab have all got the 6.1.1 update, whereas the S24 Ultra does NOT. It's still running behind with 6.1! I expect better from Samsung, being the latest flagship handset, and it's running behind last year's models!
Hopefully they have remembered to add the coating to the screen this time as the S24 ultra is an absolute nightmare and needed a glass screen protector to combat this!
I would prefer it's size in width being more smaller to that of z fold 6 when folded
Kk, 02 Oct 2024Looks not good , not preferred edge curve ..premium flaps are always rectangle shape like s24... moreExactly! It seems like The S24 ultra is going to be the last phone that is not ugly af.
My S20Plus back cover pealed.
My S22 Plus Screen oleophobic coating gone in two months.
My S23Ultra back cover pealed within one year of usage.
Samsung Build quality is trash.
>Be Samsung
>Bump up the width of the Note-type Ultra phones from 77.2 with the Note20 Ultra to 77.9, 78.1 and then 79mm from the S22 U to S24 U
>Take the width off for the S25 U
>Innovation!!!
Considering the fact that the main cam of the S24 Ultra is closer in size to the X100 Ultra's telephoto than it is to that phone's main cam, no wonder they can shrink the size down. Additionally, they might be using better titanium or something to shave off the weight so overall, they just made new problems to solve later on.
Looks not good , not preferred edge curve ..premium flaps are always rectangle shape like s24& s23 ultra.
Solun1, 02 Oct 2024They break easily. My friend just bought a Xiaomi, put it on a table and the camera lens broke... moreThere's a difference between putting it on the table gentle as a baby, and slamming it down on the table. Sounds quite much like the latter
