Anonymous, 02 Oct 2024Yes I coined the term crap-O-led I feel honored that other people use a word that I invented.... more100% agree👍my Poco X3 pro just died and I bought that phone for LCD screen and this looks like a worthy successor especially with the longer software support. Eye strain from oled is definitely a real thing because I bought a phone with oled screen and wondered why my eyes were sore and kept getting headaches after using it. This is before I read anything about pwm flicker or whatever it is so I'm glad there's still what looks like a decent phone with LCD screen to buy. I'm not a power user but I am clumsy so the mil grade protection is more use to me than the fastest chip. Picking up today so hopefully will last a few years before needing to change phone

They promise yes sure, but never delivered. Unfortunately. I stopped hoping from their fab.
They push toasty heat watt stability sttutututters laaaaaag to try to get some benchmarks numbers.
They even use dimensity in some galaxies, an obvious failure of their process.

omzig, 03 Oct 2024i thought they use 4LPX for 6 Gen 3, same as 6 Gen 1? and 4LPX is 5LPP, not 4LPP?Oh yeah. It actually uses 4LPX like the 6 gen 1/7s gen2 so there probably won't be any difference. I was hoping it used the 4LPP process 😅

I like the Lenovo ThinkPads and the legion go. But they are really scraping the barrel when it comes to their phone chips.
Remember the top of the line Motorola is only using 8s gen 3.

The ... moreSpecs-wise, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is very comparable to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The major difference is that the efficiency cores run at 1.8 instead of 1.95. How does that compare to soc you hate so much?😁
