Still it’s apple way to screw anyone using black market product or bought their apple products out of their country. Also it’s always a mess when a device actually brick as one have to spend time and effort to get a new phone, apps and old data back. Hopefully apple doesn’t repeat this with every releases.

its just my Guess. but it think its related on their updated security anti theft, that if you replace some parts of the device with stolen parts it will not work or lock i guess.
But some Online Tech test to replace it with original parts but not yet reported as lost parts, it shown a lot of bug.

Is there any order to follow when installing specific software versions? If so then it should be mentioned by Apple
Also why make it available to the user in the first place of it can cause issues. Just ensure to make the version available which you want the user to upgrade from.

What do you mean, brick their devices so they can realise their mistake of buying the overkill iPad Pro!
At least its screen and portability are damn good tho
