At this point, literally every phone has "bloatware" because they have Google Play Services, which runs most of the time in the background. Well, except if we're talking about close-to-stock Android phone with no Google Play Services.

Guaranteed to off-put any newbie Samsung user within the first month.

No bloatware", as if that shouldn't be a standard ... moreThe irony is that only Nokia's phones were "ad-free" and "bloatware-free", and they don't even advertise it in the first place. The Motorolas and Lavas I came across had a load of telemetry apps baked into each firmware. Same with the grey imported Japanese market Sony Ericsson Xperias with the most bloatware I've come across.
Shouldn't they be considered "bloatware", when they run most of the time in the background?

Even a lot of samsungs are screwed in this regard
Darth Caesium, 16 Sep 2024They're saying "No ads. No bloatware", as if that shouldn't be a standard ... moreA lot of phones in their weight class like Tecno, Infinix and even at one point low end Samsung M or F series phones have ads on the phone, so it would make sense for them to boast ad free as a benefit. Samsung M31 I purchased was filled to the brim with bloatware like 3 different tutoring apps and had ads on the lockscreen for services and products based in India until I disabled a certain samsung app
Darth Caesium, 16 Sep 2024They're saying "No ads. No bloatware", as if that shouldn't be a standard ... moremaybe that's exactly whythey're saying that. There are like 2-3 brands which offer bloatware free phones at that price range

A lot of these phones do support T-Mobile tower bands, which is why I have my eye on that delicious Samsung Galaxy A55.
They're saying "No ads. No bloatware", as if that shouldn't be a standard across all phones in the first place.
Phone's actual price should be INR 10000 with bank discounts INR 8999 cuz other devices are getting same price also there isn't anything worth mentioning. No 33W Charger No FHD+ Display. Better buy iTel Color Pro 5G & P55 5G. You get same specs at INR 10000 without bank offers.
It would be nice if just, I don't know, a quarter of these India and China phones were fully compatible with US carriers. God forbid we want to try something besides Samsung or Apple
justasmile, 16 Sep 2024That seems really good. Wish it had FHD+ though.Oh, i am actually said it wrong, OLED screens are more energy efficient
justasmile, 16 Sep 2024That seems really good. Wish it had FHD+ though. The HD+ screen is more power efficient and it is reasonable to give a price below the average Phone Dimensity 6300 🔥
