this sounds like india is just mad their phones aint doing well so to make sure they will, they pull crap like this to sell their junk......
Don't you guys think it would be more "appropriate" to illustrate this story with a picture of a phone with Indian people ?
atichko, 17 Sep 2024Exactly. It's a thin line between selling as much as possible and selling at any cost (wi... moreMaybe I misinterpreted your post. Impact can be positive or negative, but I guess impact in this case means a negative effect. This is debatable, though. For example, I don't like ugly cutouts on Apple phones. However, other consumers may not mind them, so in their opinion, the cutouts don't negatively affect them. The thing is, people who don't like the cutouts don't have to buy Apple phones. So as I said, as long as you don't trick your customers, it's fine. It'll be a problem if, for example, Apple lies that its phones don't have cutouts in an attempt to sell its phones to consumers who don't like the cutouts.
B-, 17 Sep 2024Retailers want to sell phones through their shops and avoid paying tax to companies and government Bro is your Brian in your knees as the tax is called by the the distributor when he gives out the product to the retailer. There is no avoiding to tax. There's also a sales tax which is collected from the retailer on its turnover
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2024I don't see how wanting to sell as much as possible is a dark side. As long as you don... moreExactly. It's a thin line between selling as much as possible and selling at any cost (with impact for the customer). Can you see this line? Indeed, nothing wrong until it's wrong. This resembles a Star Wars discussion about the Force and the Dark Side...same thin line. And be sure that there isn't any brand that hasn't already crossed that line once, twice or multiple times for the sake of the revenue figures.
Invetor, 16 Sep 2024maybe this is because AZ and FK aren't promoting Lava phones 🤔Retailers want to sell phones through their shops and avoid paying tax to companies and government
Local retailers have been looting us for years before e-commerce came in. Most of them are arrogant and don't give good buyback value. I used to pay Rs.600-700 for a screen protector for Sony Ericsson or Nokia phones. 😑
Annoying small retailer continuously whining about their bottom line. Everything is online now, get it together and get on board or get lost. They want people to line up in front of their store like the "good 'ole days". That time has passed. An exclusive deal during a launch event in an online retailer is beneficial to the customer. Anonymous, 16 Sep 2024LoL 😂 They say, Apple is evil, bad. But... Oops, who is the evil one now?? 🤣🤭Apple is the perfect example of the phrase, "Innocent until proven guilty".
Those comapneis have so much money a good lawyer will speak for them and everything will be passed down like nothing happened.
Words are spoken but the bread is always eaten at the end.
So ? Android is superior over IOS dont ask cuz ive got a long list as to why it is superior.
Anyways lower the inflation and bring up salary stop worrying about phones and such.

basically phone makers sell their products to consumers but some scalper(retailers) complained and shout "hey that's not fair" 🤑
Uh. The other phones are $100 phones that lie about their specs... This is only a good thing so unwitting customers don't by phones that are BS about their specs
the makers are in breach of antitrust law, but not the stores (who are taking their money)...

Went in there once and I knew more about the phones than they did. They also sold them for extortionate prices. Most of the ex Carphone warehouse staff you see stood doing nothing useless as ever in Curry's.. Still selling rubbish at extortionate prices.
