Still pointless, I have my CA license in the official DMV app and now in Google Wallet but I'd never fully rely on it instead of the physical card nor has there been a time yet that I've used the digital card instead of the physical card.

If it is google run as far as possible. There will be heaps of unnecessary verification required which translate to more personal data than required for any so called services. In the end it more about control than anything else. Don't buy into this convenience. Remember in the end as the saying goes if it is free you are the product. Thanks.
