These guys are trolling. That was a huge button he "used" and the zooming looked like it was done by hand. I think its fake with clever manipulation. They just want customers to think they already had this but actually they are now scrambling to invent one of their own....

This is just the pretext to remove physical, pressable buttons and replace them with touch ones. Those cheering such "innovation" don't understand this. First headphone jack then pressable buttons. Next is USB

Just because a company doesn't exist in your country doesn't mean they didn't do it first and shouldn't get credit for it as they deserve.

Similar nonsense was happening with comments about "dynamic island" when LG was the first to do it. Your precious fruit company would be nowhere without the innovations of others and that's a fact you like it or not.

Is it like a lot to ask from modern day people to have this much brain power on their own ?

The button technology was done over 11 years ago. Software just didnt exist like we have now to slide and what ever the button now does

My volume button does the same thing.
And instead of just landscape, my button works in both portrait and landscape orientation.

after touchscreen phones, in future we will have touch-sensitive buttons everywhere on phone.

nowadays people are (touchy) but in near future phones will be too 😂🤣😂

That's why it's currently limited to midrange Android phones with the side fingerprint readers because all the Android flagships have in-display fingerprint readers. For the hype, it's very simple tech.

I'd say let them copy. Things like this will only denigrate the Realme brand further down as consumers will only see it as the cheap imitator.
