Exactly. I currently have an S21 FE 8GB/256GB and I only considered it because I got for 525€ on sale around 6 months after release. I would have never payed the launch price of 849.9€ for te 8GB/256GB version. Not even if it was priced at 779.9€ which was the price of the 6GB/128GB variant.
For the price I paid for it, and considering that the S21 FE came out in Europe with the Snapdragon 888 instead of the Exynos 2100, I think it was a good deal. However, for the launch price you had MUCH better alternatives on the market.
The same will probably happen with the S24 FE. I wouldn't even consider unless I could get the 256GB variant for 600€ or less.
