Besides that it was pretty meh aswell. But this year is particularly weak, even the Apple Watch X isn't really worth much attention

It's like you expect best of the new tech from Apple... Tell me, when was the last time Apple put cutting edge technology in iPhones from the get go? It's always done by others, tested by Android users worldwide, and then delivered to Apple. Let it go, man. Face the reality, iPhones get the best optimized tech, which has been extensively used/tested by others for ages. And people are okay with that, people want their peace of mind, and their working phones.
