They keep the design language over generations but adding some changes here and there. Like bezzel design, button design, camera arrangement, back cover material and texture, screen to body ratio, and screen aspect ratio. (just like samsung before s22 era)
Whereas apple and samsung (s22 era - they gonna decide to stop it) have been using the exact same design over years! They only enlargen the camera bump and change back cover colour options!

I wasn't defending the downgraded screen plus it isn't even bad to begin with, the s23+ has a similar pixel density and no one cry's it's bad. Why not grow up and look at what else make up a product (or anything for that matter) other than whining about a thing that 9/10 would hardly notice. If you go to the gsmarena review it tells you that it's actually inferior to the previous year's honor 100 because of its 8s Chipset. What exactly is the point of the 8s? Its not flagship and is more like a 7 series chip.

They're bragging they're the best of the best, still a 400 euro redmi has a better resolution display than that.
Compare it with the haute cuisine. You just don't downgrade your menu because your carrots supplier is in vacation; you'll go out of business in no time. The screen resolution and aspect ratio were the only downgrade this year, that too because they couldn't find a display supplier in time and had to settle for a Samsung one other than that they practically improved everything else. Sure the software is bare bones but what disaster do you mean?
