Didn't stop the US government from trying to ban Xiaomi. I think people should realise by now that the bans on Chinese tech companies by the US government are not because of any alleged association to the Chinese government but the US government trying to stop or stall China's tech development.

I like my fold 4 despite its thickness once folded but this one is another league.
Google or not, Huawei can reverse the steam like they were doing before the ban.

Finally!
For foldables, this is the format that makes sense, with roughly 16:9 both folded and unfolded.
Sure an initial version costs an arm and a leg....
Optimally it could fold both as a "z" and an "e", that is be able to fold to protect the display.
To do that one of the hinges needs to be a double hinge, so if that is the case it do make sense to call it triple fold...

Huawei became #1 in shipments globally for a month before it was banned. But unlike huawei, xiaomi is not very assosicated with chinese government, so a ban is very unlikely. They are the only other chinese brand right now with global presence, that even the average consumer knows about.
