You must be one of those folks who claim that there wouldn't have been phones with capacitive displays had iPhone not launched with it. I bet that if Apple had used NFC, oled display etc first, we'd have been hearing about how those techs wouldn't have existed or gone mainstream from people like you. The logic is nothing impressive.

So relax, and anyway all smartphones & tablet's should benefit from this tech regardless.
