Anonymous, 05 Aug 2024How’s the battery life on it?Nearly a day on surfing, 10-12 hours of 4K recording and taking photos, 2-3 days of mixed use with calling, occasional social media and voice note recording (even more when switching to 2G), almost 6 days of standby on 2G (drops to 4 days on 4G), nearly 2 weeks of standby on flight mode or no SIM card inserted, and a month when switched off.
The original battery is showing signs of ageing now. I'm planning to replace the battery as soon as possible.

Me and that guy had an argument a few weeks ago abt curved phones including the... moreUntil ODMs make a decent phone covering niche markets with people that refuse to upgrade, I wouldn't give up on my phone. Plus it goes easy on my wallet, and I'm easily contributing less towards consistent e-waste disposal.
Plus the Nokia 8 itself is an underrated phone, and has the least compromises on any Android of all time, regardless of the price point. Same with the unique polished aluminium body with a thickness and size, that doesn't sticking out of my pocket like a TV remote.
I also have nothing to complain about, either.

Looks great! If the X200 Pro uses THIS type of flat screen then it's ok, I don't want completely flat screens, I prefer the Xiaomi 14 type slightly curved screens. Those are easier for gestures. Samsung forgot what comfort means with the S24's boxy shape.
I wonder tho, is the bottom bezel like the due to the angle of the photo, it being a dummy or because it's actually a tad bigger than the rest of the screen? Ngl I prefer symmetrical bezels like the Nothing Phone 2(a)'s over super tight bezels everywhere except for the chin. Dunno might be my OCD.
