There is a substantial specification gap between both phones, and its naturally fair for HMD to sell their phone at double the price. Also, it was easier for customers to flash the Nokia 6.2 firmware to get an extra update to Android 11 with the similar set of specs and the ability to unlock the bootloader, at that time.
If the comparison was done between the Note 5 and Nokia 4.2 with the Lenovo P2, it would've made sense.

The good news is that previous... morePure Android is good especially for low devices, clean ui and simple customization improve speed, no similar app like 2 browser, 2 music player, 2 file manager etc, which can reduce space, and minimal bloatware. Most pixel are 300 usd more and not cheap.

The good news is that previous Pixels are dropping in price. The vanilla Pixel 7 dropped its price to just $350 new, factory sealed and unlocked. If you're interested in a clean Android experience, the Pixel is the best you can get. These HMDs have the name of toothpaste xD
