For a fodable even 6000 mAh won't be enough, not to mention the Fold6 from Samsung which is a disappointment.
Anyhow even like this will be a significant step forward.
I won't buy any foldable until will come with AT LEAST 6000 mAh.

Hi., 23 Jul 2024My guess is because of the battery drain if the 8G4.Possibly, but the "Glacier Battery" is their new battery technology which seems quite promising, if the SD8G4 is so powerful hungry, we should see the likes of Samsung finally up their battery capacity after years of battery stagnation.

6000 mAh battery should be the minimum for all Android smartphones.

I had Open. With it's 4800mAh battery, the lifetime was way shorter than Samsung Fold 4. So I was started to measure curent in charging sessions for Samsung Fold 4 too. Samsung eats constantly 4100-4300 mAh, whilea OnePlus Open was constantly with 3400-3600 mAh. So, OnePlus battery was somehow defective(many users had that problem) or an exaggerated marketing to look good on paper.... That's too bad, because I liked that phone, the aspect and proportions was just almost perfect... This year I'll go with Xiaomi Fold 4 or Samsung Fold Ultra or Slim(or any name it will have).
