Thanks for confirming that there ARE three Pixel phones aside from the Fold coming out and explaining what Google's strategy is for them. Since many other tech news sites seem to be so confused that they just think the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL is the same thing, lol.

Looks amazing! Looking forward to getting the Pixel 9 Pro (NON XL)!
Moo, 14 Jul 2024I just want someone to try the Nokia 9 approach again so we can have no bump. Modern SoCs can ... moreThat is not possible. The only way to have no bump is to make phones thicker at 1cm+.
The Nokia 9 had tiny sensors by today's standards, it's old tech. The main sensor on the Pixel 8 Pro is 3.8x larger than the sensor on the Nokia 9. Also the Nokia 9 didn't have telephoto cameras or ultrawide cameras, which also require space.
Basically phones without bumps aren't possible if you want good camera hardware because novody will buy a 12mm thick phone.
Anonymous, 13 Jul 2024Of course you can remove it. What you on about lolNo, you can't. The Pixel phones force you to keep the search bar on the bottom of your screen. You can't even reposition it. That's messed up.
I just want someone to try the Nokia 9 approach again so we can have no bump. Modern SoCs can run several cameras at one time now and Google would get the software right. I think it would be possible to do and have it perform really well.
the camera module reminds me a bit of lg v60...
this one has bigger cameras, though...
i like the horizontal camera array, but, imho, the visor from 6,7, and 8 looks better...

Its common to read about Pixel 6 and 7 users complaining about lagginess and slowdown, in addition to poor battery life (a common trait shared with Exynos btw)
Man, those Pixels are really ugly phones, most of then. For the price it still amazes me after all these years.
ChalNikal, 13 Jul 2024Yeah you would spend $1500 on LagUI though.Did you wake up from coma from 2011? Times have moved on, Samsung has the best UI , speed, performance and features
Why they still use glossy sides omg... fingerprint puller
These things cost a fortune now! I'm afraid to think how much the 10 will cost, considering TSMC and Qualcomm (I'm assuming the modem used inside G5) prices.
