SRKSRINIVAS, 13 Jul 2024They might announce to start a fabrication unit in India.If one counts custom made Jio 5G SOC, doesn't it also count as an Indian exclusive product, which to me makes more sense, Jio budget is about 2-3b$ can't run a full dedicated assembly, I e 16-20B$.

7s Gen 3 & 4s Gen 3 is what I consider are the two historic announcements. Since 7s Gen 3 is debuting in Realme 13 Pro+ , it's announcement seems likely. Jio & Lava was reportedly considered to work with budget chips. So, 4s Gen 3 or 3 Gen will arrive to have 5G connnectivity and cheap price at ₹5000-₹7999/$70/£60 price category in India.
