They can want whathewer they wish or dream for but noone of thats turns into reality because all, any and every competitors making 100% better specced device for 30% less price with all neccesary accesories included in box.
If Samsung wants 10% sales increase at first they must start selling folds under 1000 and flips for less than 700 euros. Othervise its DOA.
Competition always wins with a much better value for money.

The increase in price and no change old trade in pricing combined with the fact that nothing really has changed about this device doesn't seem like it's going to sell well....I'd probably bite if the Fold 4 trade in value was $1200

The fact that they are basically selling Z Fold 5 at higher price should mean they won't achieve that, but modern day consumers blidinly buy anything so I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung's plans go as they hope

Z Flip 5 outsold even Samsung's own expectations last year for every quarter including all competition for that market segment.
They'll do just fine cause feature for feature and overall hardware spec it's tops!
For Z Fold 6 this may be a reckoning for Samsung especially if Find N4 is supreme

Samsung can hope for better sales of it matches the camera to that of Galaxy S24 Ultra plus inbuilt stylus. I won't be upgrading until then. Still using my Fold3
