Yet we'll still see the words "MediaTek bad, Snapdragon good" from that one people who doesn't know anything about processors, geez.

We've reached the point where Qualcomm versus MediaTek is like Intel versus AMD. For a long time, AMD struggled to compete with Intel until they overhauled their product lineup and suddenly they were making chips that were just as powerful as Intel's with better power efficiency for a lower price. The same thing is happening with MediaTek. They're being taken seriously now, and we're likely not far off from a global flagship smartphone like the Galaxy S pivoting to them.

For consistency in reporting - of the top 10 devices in the midrange section, 6 were powered by Dimensities and 4 by Snapdragons.

rizki1, 01 Jul 2024Almost of them are Chinese phones, you don't find Samsung, Sony, Google, etcWell google dont have snapdragon or mediatek and their chips are in middle class around the level of performance as SD870
Sony and Samsung dont seem to over clock the chips to get out as much they can.
China just have the most phone brands
