Pretty sure that "solid-state battery" is just a regular lithium..

Alex, 24 Jun 2024Great tool to buy, I can check my home for leaks using the thermal camera.Ive had two ruggeds with thermal cam and I love it. Very useful tool imo, and it's really just fun when you find interesting things to do with it. I have the 18t still and it's great. The battery life is fantastic and the 27t is hopefully even better. I've beaten this phone hard and it's still perfect, still has good battery life. still get a solid day out of it and that's constant use, multi process.

Richtam76, 25 Jun 2024It's a shame as my doogee s98 pro has 200+ x 300+ thermal resolution Sort of. It's basically upscaled so that's pretty debatable but I've heard good things. Flir is a better sensor though as far as I know.

Kori, 09 Jul 2024İt's not for normal people... There are actually several quite common usages of IR cameras.

Hunting is a common example, but also useful to check if/where your house needs better insulation.
It can even quickly tell if a house got some of the thermal windows punctured, if checked when there is supposed to be a big temperature difference between inside and outside.

But that said it obviously is not something most people will need in daily usage, so from that perspective I agree.

I think the Flir brand is better in terms of thermal cameras. However, the Doogee V31 GT has a thermal camera from the InfiRay Tiny1-C brand and I think it has a higher resolution than the ThermoVue and the Flir. But I don't know which one is actually better in practice.

They need to improve thermal cameras like DooGee. You can't have the same spec of thermal camera on every phone. We know rugged phones don't take good photos, but please improve night vision and thermal cameras.

interesting, its used a solid state battery to the contrary of the usual lithium, and its much cheaper than the xcover 7

This is a well-balanced design and configuration, and if the price is less than $500, it will replace many handheld thermal imaging devices. The Ulefone Armor 27T Pro will be the preferred device for maintenance workers and outdoor enthusiasts.
