Dumk300, 12 Jun 2024What was HTC, and what has become..... Such a shame.... Good old days of the HTC HD2....HTC is still HTC. No other owners. Only outsourcing it all now, but the design is theyr call.
Strange huh.
I guess sadly they hit the bottom at some point and now just don't have the $ to penetrate.
They should have refrained from building anything at all and thus creating a real longing for the good days, a vacuum of some sort.. and then suddenly bring out 1 proper high end phone. but no 🫤. or is this u24 the thing?? time will tell. specs is only half the story

Looks beautiful, and is one of those ultra rare phones with a curved display plus headphone jack combo, and it even has a notification LED. I'm impressed, this is definitely my favourite phone of the year.

Pretty compelling device, the only possible points of failure here are the software update policy and the cameras.
Attractive design, good screen, headphone jack, metal body, even a notification LED!!!
If the prices don't increase a lot from the u23 pro they just need to market it properly

Their U23 Pro was a pretty compelling device. It had a headphone jack, USB 3.0 and expandable storage. Some features you won’t even find on flagships anymore. It was priced too high though and the design was ugly.
Luckily all of those features are retained here. The follow-up has an attractive design. But high price, low availability and zero marketing make it DOA.

3.5mm jack, notification LED, IP67? Is HTC bringing back the good times? All it needs now is an IR blaster and this would be the go to phone.
