IpsDisplay, 12 Jun 2024Game over x86... Eventually maybe..Yet more than 20 years latter we still have new TN panels on the market.

So if they are using ARM designs and launching in 2025 then.... 16 core X925 CPU ? + 24 core G925 GPU? Lol.
IpsDisplay, 12 Jun 2024Game over x86... Eventually maybe..Far away from gamer over. Arm can't even replace x86 in mobile division, let alone in other areas like destok, servers, data centers or supercomputer.

Macbooks,Recently announced X Elite Laptops show a glooming future as every upgradeable component is soon gonna be soldered to MB.
IpsDisplay, 12 Jun 2024Game over x86... Eventually maybe..What about gaming though? As much I would love to see ARM succeed and X86 dominance reduce, all games are made for X86, translation loses performance upto 50% in some and 30% on average
I for one I'm glad where MediaTek has gotten too. Hope UniSoc and their likes gets there too,by perseverance off course like MediaTek.
Hope they won't fall victim towards the Copilot Recall fiasco which led to recalling the entire chipset lineup from spyware garbage.
That happened to Snapdragon X....
(Update: Microsoft will disable Copilot Recall by default, but it would better be gone from most users).
Finally
Nvidia is making Windows on ARM SoC next year as well , very interesting options for 2025
