The reason why analogue watch face are mostly round is because of the rotating hands of analogue clock. A smart watch is better off with squarish face. Just because technology offers reshaping digital screen, Rectangular face watch is more practical screen for most apps. I would like a Pixel Watch 4 with squarish face.

The pixel Watch looks like a kids toy watch beside the Samsung Watch 6. With square edges and smaller bezels, google could increase the screen size from 1.2" to 1.5" in nearly the same size watch.

tbh i don't think it's a problem that they're sticking with the same design for the 3rd-gen. it's a good design! i just wish the bezels were thinner. the pixel watch still has a lot of potential, just like the pixel phone
