If moto doesn't put this phone on the market soon, I'm going to move on and buy something else. A wood back is not enough to keep me waiting for the rest of the world. Ali Express has it for sale, but no us model...

Every year you get ultra with latest flagship in Moto since 8 Gen 2 was Edge 40 Ultra, so it was expected 8 Gen 3 for Edge 50 Ultra but A downgrade in 8 Gen 3 is 8s Gen 3 which is Little more than 8 Gen 2 thus becoming Pro+ in Moto.

I couldn't find any source claiming anything as such about the pro+. Besides, even the global ultra is 8s gen 3. There is no 8 gen3 flagship from moto so far

Sadly, 8 Gen 3 based Edge 50 Ultra is not coming :( Instead we are getting Edge 50 Pro+ as Edge 50 Ultra. This device will face strong competition from IQOO 12 & Xiaomi 14 Civi & probably Realme GT 6 (or Pro depending what name they give for device in India)
