This might be an event for the history books, for all the wrong reasons.
Apple right now is the weakest it has been in decades, with the legal walloping it is getting in EU, the contracting market in China (the recent firesale with massive discounts notwithstanding), cratering Mac sales, huge security lapses and the catch up game they are playing with AI since they don't have any huge hardware/software achievement under their belts in this domain while M$FT (through the OpenAI wrangling stick), Meta and Google are miles ahead.
Apple is honestly floundering it's stock price bloat for the recent few quarters and this year's WWDC might set the stage for the company to sink or swim before next year's event.

Steve Jobs had 5 pcs of iPhone 1st Gen when he first presented it. All because that thing overheats and runs out of memory quickly. So he needs a cool, fresh model if his demo unit conks out. Amazing legend of a $3T company. 🤣
