Well I did what I said I would do, I ordered the 1v instead, I have the 1iv at the moment and was going to wait for the 1vi and upgrade, but I can't justify it now, they got rid of the best feature the 4k screen for a screen which is not even 2k, even the iPhone beats it. Yes there is a updated chip but the 1v will be a update for me, I get the Sony surround sound system worth £500 with it and to be honest I'm disappointed iv been buying Sony phones since I stopped buying iPhones at iPhone 5 or was it 4, anyway Sony still wants the same money for a screen downgrade I don't think it will work people will pay for quality I have been doing but they don't like to be treated like this, I sincerely hope they change it back next year.

I would much rather have their IER-Z1R or IER-M9 bundled with it.... I legit wouldnt even bother using the XM5 and most likely will just sell it off to some normie

The Sony VI 1 is worth like a 800£ do even with headphones still 200-300£ overpriced.

If you are considering spending $1300 for the xperia vi, I would kindly and gently recommend you go for the S24 Ultra. The xperia is a flagship phone that is more beneficial for photographers. I sincerely believe if you are not a photographer, you will be disappointed when your friends have better point and shoot photos (from iphone and galaxy S phones), +4 more years of security updates and os updates. I love sony. I have a Sony smart tv, but they sell high and their products are not aimed for everyone (and that is ok).

Ouch! I can just imagine if you get one through a telco payment plan. Same price as a high end OLED TV, high end PC or a good TV with a console. We all have our thing. At that price i want a working tricorder able to do all the scans lol. Maybe refurbished in a year for people like me. Like the close to stock OS, less chance of wear os troubleshooting headaches.
Yes, I overspent on my smartwatch even with the 120$ flash discount from the vendor. (2021 price, but still not cheap around 325 USD or 400 CAN after taxes ans shipping).

100% percent Sony's fault for bad foot hold in the USA was that they decided to ditch a strong relationship with T-Mobile for Verizon. Look up the Sony Xperia Z4v, which is what cancelled their career overhear.
