I'm just happy that the gaming monitors are selling instead of the smart monitors (read: monitors with a whole OS specifically designed to spy on you and show you ads, just like smart TVs)

I've never tried their OLEDs outside of a demo, but every Samsung LCD monitor I've ever bought has had massive issues with things such as dead/stuck pixels, screen flickering, scan lines, etc. They have great specs on paper, but the actual user experience has always been horrible.

My Samsung OLED monitor that I bought in the year 2011 still going on. No burn out or what so ever. This is for my gaming PC. The only downfall, is still 60Hz monitor 🤷🏻♂️

Having constant OS and... moreThe risks are almost non-existent on modern OLED monitors, technology is much further than it was years ago and most new OLED monitors (if not all) come with some kind of pixel refresh features, so unless you purposefully abuse the monitor, you have virtually nothing to worry about.
Oled for gaming is still one of the worst decisions I've can make. Having constant OS and game static UI elements on the screen is a quick an easy way to get burn-in.
