1. No carriers offered to subsidize it
2. It barely has any cellular bands that are compatible with US carriers, so it’s basically useless here
Also the poco f1 stopped receiving software since Android 10, and its chip is slower than the one in the iPhone 8 according to nanoreview.net.

Still uses the Poco F1 from 6 years. Still perfoms smoothly even for heavier task like Genshin. Then why no one talks about it (or another similar Android midranger)? Well, because it's not an iPhone.

The A12 and A13 chips hold up very well today compared to most Android midrangers, and most people just like iOS better, especially compared to some of the heavier Android launchers.

Nothing is superior in iOS, especially when you realized that those devices won't receive OS updates 1-2 years from now, except if you're "smart" enough to install some sketchy APK files in Android, then maybe iOS is good for you.

I‘d appreciate if the effort of the makers moved also towards mid-to-lower end devices like the A55 or A15. No need for good and well-rounded phones to be something reserved for only more well-off people, also considering the wage/wealth gap between developed and developing countries. I see a way of democratization of phones and thus technology and communication in more affordable devices.
