Except Tensor G3 processor everything is same even the battery is 4400mah not 4500 mah. Too expensive, and they have named it 8a instead of 7a just by adding Tensor G3 processor.

Are Google pixel phones with tensor 3 processor worth buying ?
Because, pixel 8 with tenson 3 processor heats a lot and drains battery.

Refurbished Pixel 7 Pro in excellent condition (basically new) is already $400.
What's the point of buying more expensive and inferior Pixel 8a instead?
As for why people may prefer Pixels to Samsung. Obviously more professional programmers at Google and therefore timely monthly updates unlike Samsung and no Samsung's privacy issues (lots of Samsungs app that I don't want or need, also Samsung turning off important Android features, once again on Samsung you can't prevent apps from accessing Internet, that makes your device more vulnerable, and limits your ability to block apps in them)

But nun of them last for 24 hrs in moderate use either 6a, 7a, 8 and 8a too expected as the processor and batteryare from category/ capacity.
