There are good workarounds with almost native app support.
Has not hurt me one bit. The only downside is push notifications from Google.

Part of me badly want to go back to Huawei, even though I'm having S23 Ultra but to be frank it's not as stable as any of the Huawei phones I've owned. But absence of GMS is a struggle.

Feels like a weird move but at least they went for a 1 inch sensor and closed the gap with competitors.
