If you already know the source of the problem why would you blame samsung or "x" company about it? In exchange for the vast differences between android skins uis ect we sacrifice simultanious upgradibility (among other things).
Darth Caesium, 02 May 2024Actually, I can and I should expect it. Do updates happen at different timeframes for differen... moreWhile the regular updates on Windows may be coming out at the same time for all devices, the same cannot be said for (semi-)annual version updates. Remember when Windows 10 and 11 were first released? Many devices still have not yet been upgraded to Win11 because this update is not offered via Windows Update. Not everyone will do a clean install as a workaround.
With Samsung, I somewhat understand the frustration of having to wait, but Samsung’s UI is a significant modification from stock Android (personally I prefer it over stock). It simply takes time to make adjustments with each update with the plethora of devices they still have to support.
More importantly to me, I’m hoping that battery life on the vanilla S22 won’t get even worse with all the new AI processes running in the background. And that the upgrade doesn’t slow down the phone too much.
On a positive note, Samsung’s software support has become pretty good over the years. They used to be one of the worst, but they have really made massive improvements. I wished other companies like Sony offered the same length of support for their devices - at the very least give us five to six years of security updates for flagship phones!
iPhone 17 Pro Max, 02 May 2024Enjoy your display burn in green line, bad batteries and a lot more bugs 🤣🤣it is perfectly stable and more fluid compared to 6.0 for s23. burn in protection was added, too. what bugs do you experience?

Samsung makes atleast 5 times that ammount every year. You cant expect them to release updates at the same time. The older your device, the more you;re gonna have to wait. seems reasonable to me

Darth Caesium, 01 May 2024Whatever. I don't care, and if I do, it's because it wasn't pushed out for all ... moreConsidering they need to update over 100 devices every year, in my opinion it's fine for them to release the updates gradually to each device, as long as it's consistent like this.
- This month: S and Z series
- Next month: A/F/M 5x and 3x series
- 1 month and 2 weeks later: A/F/M 2x, 1x, and 0x series.
Just remove this entire regional updates nonsense (except China maybe, since they're not allowed to have GMS).
Also on my old old backup phone Galaxy A50...
Thanks to the developer Miles, SpiderOS 2.0 DTB
