Nokia never dies.
If Nokia never exists, nether other mobile appears.
What Apple have lucky to do is what Nokia tried before, unfortunately without success. Imagine Symbian like IOS...

carl124, 04 May 2024ExactlyMy next iPhone after iPhone and s23 :) can't stand their spyi fragile 'is not your phone it's their' and dark pattern anymore.
Family force me to keep messenger but when open standards eu laws enforced there too, it'll be a breath of life to me. Even I am not sure anyone would understand the importance and meaning of that.

They need to remake a top spec 9000 communicator. That would be epic

we all have that urge to disconnect and remove distraction, a feature phone could be useful, however without essential messaging apps like Messenger/Whatsapp I can't seriously consider getting one of these

S30+ is simply not good enough, where is KaiOS and what happened to java/symbian?
                      even for nostalgia's sake I'd buy a java/s40

I think it's a much better alternative to other brands who bake their phones with telemetry apps, Meta bloatware and useless self-branded Bloatware apps (I'm looking at you, Samsung, BBK and Lenovo/Motorola).

This had been the case with my Nokia 8, where I uninstalled updates for almost all Google apps, and they were gone for good. At least I'm happy they do offer that. I had done this for my parents' Nokia C32 phones as well, so not a surprise this works for every Nokia yet.

You're better off getting something like a Nokia 1.4 for a media player than getting any obsolete Android phone for that purpose. Or a feature phone that can tolerate everyday life while not having to go through costly display replacements. That's the reason why these phones exist in the first place.

The licence deal with Nokia expires soon. And I think Nokia are not interested to continue with it. So HMD will put some Nokia devices before it ends.
Im not sure HMD itself will survive in the mobile market. Only time will tell.

Make nostalgic phenomenal phone like communicator or n series to attract gen z people. Not old phone with just gimmick and gimmick. New company but with old people inside. Fewh.
