Just my opinion, 25 Apr 2024LOL, The reason I left WhatsApp 3 years ago... After all these years, it is still a boring app I seeI really want to leave but I can't lol. Ironically I still need this app to contact my parents and lecturers.

This makes complete sense and solves an actual problem. Often you're talking to someone and they give you a number to "whatsapp this guy your location".
In that case I have to go add this random guy "Delivery guy Temp" and then close whatsapp, re-open it and send them a message.
If all I could do is just select a number and directly message them without adding, then that's all we need. I hope it also enables messaging instead of just calling because that would be a lost opportunity of fixing an actual real problem.

Meta Facebook say money money money.
Every single phone number you dail from WhatsApp will be saved into Meta servers and sold. Good luck people. Free apps don't come free "actually". You pay it will your life (phone number, email, social account, address, even your pictures!, if unlucky enough, your text message 🙄) good luck people 😎
